This cottage had been neglected for many years and suffered from the typical problems that come with an old building. Planning and Building Regulation approvals were obtained for a two storey side extension and various internal alterations. The original small, dark rooms inside were opened up to provide light open plan living, whilst the new entrance porch helped to maintain a traditional exterior appearance.
